Ingredients

1 package betty crocker devils food cake mix
1/4 cup water
2 - eggs
1/4 cup soft butter
1/4 cup brown sugar-packed
1/2 cup chopped nuts-i like pecans
1 can betty crocker creamy white frosting (any flavor)
3 - squares (3oz) unsweetened chocolate

How To Make chocolate squares

Step 1

heat oven 375. combine half of dry mix, water, eggs, butter, and brown sugar in mixing bowl; mix thoroughly.

Step 2

mix in rest of dry cake mix. stir in nuts. spread in greased/floured jelly roll pan. 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch. bake 20-25 min. Cool.
Step 3

spread frosting on cake, melt chocolate and spread over frosting. chill- cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.
