I serve this at Fourth of July cookouts or any holiday get together. *** I use the La Costena or Goya chipotle peppers in Adobo Sauce.

Ingredients
- 1(15 oz.) can chick peas(garbanzos)
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chipotle chili peppers in adobo sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make chipotle hummus

Step 1Drain the chick peas reserving 2 Tbsp. of the liquid.

Step 2Heat oil in a skillet and saute the garlic until it is tender.

Step 3Place the chick peas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, salt, reserved liquid and chili peppers in a food processor (or blender).

Step 4Process (or blend) until smooth.

Step 5Place in a serving bowl and serve with pita chips or fresh veggies (like baby carrots, celery sticks, broccoli florets, black olives and cherry tomatoes.
