Ingredients

3 cups rice chex cereal
3 cups corn chex cereal
1 cup whole pecans
1 cup mixed nuts
2 cups pretzels
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons tony chachere's creole seasoning
1 tablespoon lawry's seasoning salt
1/4 teaspoon onion salt
4 dashes louisiana hot sauce

How To Make chex party mix

Step 1

Preheat oven at 200 degrees.

Step 2

Melt butter. Add seasoning ingredients. Mix well.
Step 3

Pour over cereals and nuts.
Step 4

Bake for one hour at 200 degrees. Stir every 15 minutes with a wooden spoon.
Step 5

Spread out on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.
Step 6

If you make more, do not double recipe. Make in batches. If you try doubling recipe, the cereals end up being soggy.
