This recipe was given to me many years ago and I fell in love with it. I have made it every year at Christmas since. I have also made it for different parties and functions..... it's always a hit. Feel free to eliminate the Worcestershire Sauce if so desired. I have made it both ways and it is still yummy.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 1/2 c
    diced green pepper
  • 1/2 c
    diced onion
  • 1 small jar(s)
    dried beef
  • 16 oz
    cream cheese
  • ·
    chopped english walnuts

How to Make Cheeseball with a twist

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix all ingredients except Walnuts
  3. Form into ball
  4. Make a dime size hole in the top of the ball and add a couple drops of Worcestershire Sauce then pinch hole shut
  5. Roll ball in the walnuts and place on cookie sheet lined with foil.
  6. Bake in oven for 10 min.* let cool then cover and refrigerate
  7. * Mine always holds together very well but if it starts to spread out when it bakes just reshape tight after it cools.
