This recipe was given to me many years ago and I fell in love with it. I have made it every year at Christmas since. I have also made it for different parties and functions..... it's always a hit. Feel free to eliminate the Worcestershire Sauce if so desired. I have made it both ways and it is still yummy. ENJOY

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 small jar dried beef
  • 16 ounces cream cheese
  • - chopped english walnuts

How To Make cheeseball with a twist

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Step 2
    Mix all ingredients except Walnuts
  • Step 3
    Form into ball
  • Step 4
    Make a dime size hole in the top of the ball and add a couple drops of Worcestershire Sauce then pinch hole shut
  • Step 5
    Roll ball in the walnuts and place on cookie sheet lined with foil.
  • Step 6
    Bake in oven for 10 min.* let cool then cover and refrigerate
  • Step 7
    * Mine always holds together very well but if it starts to spread out when it bakes just reshape tight after it cools.
