These are an item I came up with myself when trying to find something outside the box to serve at a party I was having. Caprese Salads are one of my favorites so I decided to make caprese salads on a toothpick. They were a great hit with everyone there and disappeared quickly.

    mozzarella pearls
  • 3-4 sprig(s)
    fresh basil

  2. Slice basil into short strips
  3. Using a small decorative toothpick, slide 1 mozzarella pearl onto the toothpick, followed by a strip of basil, then 1 olive and top with cherry tomato half
  4. Once you've got as many as you want, arrange all into a rectangular or square serving dish. Pour the dressing over the toothpick skewers. Watch them disappear!
