this is an italian appetizer, very easy to make . light, just perfect, before you start a meal. everybody in my family and my friends love it .

long and skinny italian or french bread
3 large
chopped fresh garlic.
oregano and salt and pepper to taste
olive oil to taste
1 bunch
a bunch of fresh basil chopped.

How to Make bruschette


  • 1wash tomatoes and broil them under broiler. let cool. peel the tomatoes.
  • 2chop tomatoes and add all ingredients. mix well. marinate covered in fridge for at least one hour or more . slice the bread and toast on each side under broilre. only takes couple of minutes... be careful not to burn the bread, like i do all the times... haaaaaa lol...
  • 3when ready to serve , spoon a tablespoon full of tomatoes on each slice of bread. dont do this too much in advance as the bread will get soggy. enjoy .. it's light, easy and delicious !
