Ingredients
- 12 eggs
- 1 cup blue tea flower
- 6 cups boiling water
- 1 tablespoon Chinese 5 spice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 4 tablespoons Kewpie or regular mayo
- salt and pepper
- sweet paprika
How To Make blue tea deviled eggs

Step 1Add the blue tea flower to the boiling water on the stove top. Mix in the Chinese 5 Spice and sugar. Simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.

Step 2Boil the 12 eggs and crack the eggs all over but don't remove the shell. Add the eggs to the blue tea flower water and cover and place in the fridge for 24 hours. This will give it the blue marbled look on the white of the egg

Step 3Remove the eggs from the blue tea water and discard the water. Peel the eggs and cut them in half. Remove the yolk and mix with the Kewpie mayo and add salt and pepper.

Step 4Pipe into the white of the eggs and sprinkle with the paprika
