We had lots of fun at Christmas in NC in 2005, making and tasting different dip recipes. This one was a good one!

makes 4 cups
Stove Top


  • 15 oz
    hormel chili, no beans
  • 10 oz
    rotel tomatoes with green chilies, diced
  • 8 oz
    velveeta, cubed
  • 1/2 c
    sliced green onions
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper

How to Make Big Dipper


  1. Reserve 1 tablespoon, drained. of tomatoes for garnish. Combine all in saucepan, heat to melt, stirring frequently. Serve warm with vegetable dippers and toasted French bread slices. Garnish.
    Makes 4 cups.
