Our family's kitchen table is like my comfort zone I have sat through laughter ,tears, fights sometimes nothing is spoken and we all just know this is where we gather for love,support and good food.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups left over mashed potatoes
  • 2 - eggs (beaten )
  • 1 cup flour self rising
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (sharp)
  • 2 ounces soften cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled bacon

How To Make baby d's potato cakes

  • Step 1
    Combine mash potatoes, garlic, chopped onion,salt ,pepper to taste,bacon, cream cheese, and cheese mix together to combine mixture.
  • Step 2
    add your eggs and mix this together. Start pouring flour in a little at a time sometimes you may need the cup of flour or more or even less.As you are mixing this up it should be a little stiff texture of biscuit dough.
  • Step 3
    Use a *NON STICK skillet medium heat little butter in pan melt distribute evenly allow the pan to get hot using a spoon drop potato mixture into pan. Cook for about five minutes then turn press down with spatula. remove repeat We eat these by themselves or with sour cream,ketchup or salsa
