This dish is fabulous for get togethers. Always leave with an empty bowl. I think its the bacon that makes this recipe POP

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces sour cream, regular is best
  • 1 bunch spring onions, green tops included, chopped fine
  • 3 medium ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 2 cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 pound bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 16 ounces salsa, medium
  • 1 large bag of tortilla chips

How To Make 7 layer mexican dip

  • Step 1
    Mix cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth. Spread in a 11x14" dish. Pour salsa over this.
  • Step 2
    Layer remaining ingredients in order listed, reserving bacon for last. Place in fridge for 4 hours or overnight.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top, prior to serving.
