- 1Melt butter in large skillet over low heat. Stir in salt. Add chex. Stir til allow pieces are coated.
- 2Continue to heat and stir for 4 to 6 minutes or til chex are lightly toasted Sprinkle on cheese. Stir to coat all pieces. Spread on paper towels to cool. Makes 6 cups.
