Ingredients

  • - meatball ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 4 teaspoons parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup bread crumbs (soft)
  • 2 - eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • - sauce ingredients
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 can tomato sauce 8 ounce
  • 4 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

How To Make zesty meatballs, with barbeque sauce

  • Step 1
    combine all meatball ingredients together and thoroughly mix.
  • Step 2
    shape into balls approximately 2" in diameter
  • Step 3
    cook in heavy skillet using a small amount of cooking oil until lightly browned
  • Step 4
    remove meatballs from skillet, drain on paper towels, then arrange in a 12" by 9" by 2 1/2" baking dish
  • Step 5
    set aside until sauce is prepared
  • Step 6
    combine all sauce ingredients in a small sauce pan. mix thoroughly.
  • Step 7
    bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Cook one minute after boiling starts.
  • Step 8
    Drizzle sauce over the meatballs and bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees F.
