How to Make Teriyaki Steak Skewers

  1. Slice steak in long pieces, about 1/4 inch thick. Set aside.
  2. In sauce pan, heat water, cornstarch, brown sugar and soy sauce until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. Add garlic and ginger, stir well. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. Marinade the steak in the sauce for at least 30 minutes.
Poke skewers through the steak pieces and place on a plate. Set extra sauce aside (if any).
  4. Grill the skewers over medium-low heat, brushing with extra sauce while cooking. Grill both sides for approximately 2-3 minutes each.
  5. Serve.
