Ingredients
- 2 - new york strip filets
- 8 - kabob skewers
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
How To Make teriyaki steak skewers

Step 1Slice steak in long pieces, about 1/4 inch thick. Set aside.

Step 2In sauce pan, heat water, cornstarch, brown sugar and soy sauce until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. Add garlic and ginger, stir well. Remove from heat and let cool.

Step 3Marinade the steak in the sauce for at least 30 minutes. Poke skewers through the steak pieces and place on a plate. Set extra sauce aside (if any).

Step 4Grill the skewers over medium-low heat, brushing with extra sauce while cooking. Grill both sides for approximately 2-3 minutes each.

Step 5Serve.
