This was on the a little ad attached to a jar of Chile Today Hot Tamale salsa. It sounds like it's easy and would be good.

Ingredients

29 ounces canned tamales
1 cup onion, minced
15 ounces chile con carne
1 pound cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup salsa

How To Make tamale dip - microwave

Step 1

Remove wrappers from tamales. Chop coarsely in food processor with steel blade.

Step 2

In a 1-cup measure cover onion with plastic wrap and microwave on High (l00%) 2 minutes.
Step 3

Place chopped tamales in a 2-quart dish.
Step 4

Add onion, chile con carne and cheese.
Step 5

Microwave on High (100%) 6 minutes until cheese melts.
Step 6

Stir at 3 minutes.
Step 7

Top with salsa.
Step 8

Serve with tostadas.
