tailgate party ham sandwiches
I got this recipe when I lived in North Carolina. It was a staple whenever the Garden Club brought appetizers to the Christmas Party. It also works as a tailgate appetizer. You can make them ahead and freeze them or refrigerate them overnight. If you are in a hurry, you can make them and immediately put them in the oven. I prefer the King's Hawaiian brand but you can use your favorite party roll. I bake it in the cardboard holder but some rolls even come in an aluminum pan which is nice to help stabilize the rolls while handling . I like to slice them into individual rolls before baking.
