How to Make Sweet Smokies
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place brown sugar in a shallow bowl.
- Cut bacon strips into thirds.
- Wrap each strip of bacon around a sausage.
- Roll each bacon wrapped sausage in and around the brown sugar to coat.
- Place sausages side by side, without touching, on a foil lined cookie sheet (spray foil with non-stick spray).
- Bake for 30 minutes or until bacon is cooked through, but bottoms of sausages are not burned.
