How to Make Sweet Smokies
- 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2Place brown sugar in a shallow bowl.
- 3Cut bacon strips into thirds.
- 4Wrap each strip of bacon around a sausage.
- 5Roll each bacon wrapped sausage in and around the brown sugar to coat.
- 6Place sausages side by side, without touching, on a foil lined cookie sheet (spray foil with non-stick spray).
- 7Bake for 30 minutes or until bacon is cooked through, but bottoms of sausages are not burned.
