Ingredients

  • 16 oz
    little smokies pork sausages
  • 1 lb
    maple flavored or regular smoked bacon
  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar

How to Make Sweet Smokies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place brown sugar in a shallow bowl.
  3. Cut bacon strips into thirds.
  4. Wrap each strip of bacon around a sausage.
  5. Roll each bacon wrapped sausage in and around the brown sugar to coat.
  6. Place sausages side by side, without touching, on a foil lined cookie sheet (spray foil with non-stick spray).
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until bacon is cooked through, but bottoms of sausages are not burned.
