These appetizer meatballs are easy to make and have a little bite to them. They can be made ahead and reheated before serving and can be frozen too. You can serve them skewered on a platter or in a chafing dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or ground round
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic, mashed into a puree
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 1 cup jalapeno jelly

How To Make sweet jalapeno meatballs

  • Step 1
    Combine beef and garlic. Mix well. Shape into 3/4-inch diameter balls.
  • Step 2
    Brown meatballs on all sides in a skillet over medium heat. Drain well on paper towels.
  • Step 3
    Combine chili sauce and jelly in a skillet, over medium heat and stir until well blended.
  • Step 4
    Add meatballs, heat and stir until well coated.
  • Step 5
    Serve hot.
