This is my recipe for another great Barbeque rib. You can halve the sauce recipe and use to baste a rack of ribs, or double and make a finger licking large batch of country ribs. I made 4 pounds and not a rib left. Enjoy!

prep time 10 Min
cook time 1 Hr 20 Min
method Bake
yield 4 - 6

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chili sauce
  • 1 3/4 cups honey
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine or red
  • 4 pounds country ribs
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1 medium onion, chopped small
  • salt - & pepper

How To Make ~ sweet chili honey ribs ~

  • Step 1
In a large stock pot, cover ribs with water and add some salt. Bring to a boil and cook for 20 - 25 min.
  • Step 2
Preheat oven to 375 degree F. Drain and place ribs in a 4 quart casserole dish or med roaster. Salt and pepper. I also sprinkled with red pepper flakes.
  • Step 3
In a medium saucepan, add all ingredients, except the pork. Mix well, bring to a boil, then simmer 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • Step 4
Pour the sauce evenly over the ribs and cover dish with foil. Bake for 1 hour, remove foil, reduce oven to 350 and bake another 20 - 25 minutes. Serve hot...finger licking good!
