I never tell people what's in these until after they've tried them, because I have to admit, the ingredients don't sound very appealing, but these are always a huge hit at parties and pot lucks. And after they've tasted them, people beg for the recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds jimmy dean regular sausage
- 3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
How To Make sweet and sour sausage balls

Step 1Mix together sausage, breadcrumbs and beaten eggs. Form into golf ball-sized balls.

Step 2Brown sausage balls, either in a pan on the stove top or on a cookie sheet in the oven.

Step 3Whisk together ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce and brown sugar.

Step 4Transfer browned sausage balls to a medium-large saucepan and pour sauce over them. Cover and simmer on medium low for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cut one sausage ball in half and check for doneness before serving.
