I never tell people what's in these until after they've tried them, because I have to admit, the ingredients don't sound very appealing, but these are always a huge hit at parties and pot lucks. And after they've tasted them, people beg for the recipe.

2 lbjimmy dean regular sausage

3/4 cseasoned bread crumbs

2eggs, beaten

1 1/2 cketchup

1/2 cbrown sugar

1/4 cwhite vinegar

1/4 csoy sauce
How To Make sweet and sour sausage balls

1Mix together sausage, breadcrumbs and beaten eggs. Form into golf ball-sized balls.

2Brown sausage balls, either in a pan on the stove top or on a cookie sheet in the oven.

3Whisk together ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce and brown sugar.

4Transfer browned sausage balls to a medium-large saucepan and pour sauce over them. Cover and simmer on medium low for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cut one sausage ball in half and check for doneness before serving.
