sweet and sour meatballs
My friend always served these meatballs at almost every potluck we attended. Why? Because we all insisted she did! They are so good and the secret ingredient surprised me when she gave me the recipe. I never tasted any better anywhere. Hope you think so, too.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds ground chuck
- 3 - eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups italian bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2/3 cup minced onion
- 8 ounces welch's concord grape jelly (no exceptions)
- 2 - jars heinz chili sauce
- - stockpot filled with boiling water
How To Make sweet and sour meatballs

Step 1Meatballs: Mix hamburger, eggs, bread crumbs, garlic and onion in large bowl. Salt and pepper.

Step 2Create 2 inch diameter meatballs. Drop in boiling water and cook 15 minutes. Remove from water. Drain.

Step 3In a bowl whisk grape jelly and chili sauce. Put meatballs in a crockpot and cover with jelly mixture and coat meatballs.

Step 4Put on low for several hours to heat up thoroughly.
