- 1/4 cup water
- 1 jar heinze chili sauce
- 1 can whole bean cranberry sauce
- 28 ounces sauerkraut, canned
- 1 bottle water (chili sauce bottle)
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
How To Make sweet and sour meatballs
-
Step 1Place chili sauce, cranberry sauce, sauerkraut, bottle of water using empty chili sauce bottle, and brown sugar in a sauce pan to heat thru while making meatballs
-
Step 2Place ground sirloin, onion soup mix, cornflakes, 2 eggs and 1/4c of water in a mixing bowl. Mix together and form small cocktail size meatballs. Arrange meatballs in 2 13x9 pans. Pour hot liquid evenly over both pans. Bake at 350 for 90 mins
-
Step 3I usually let them cool and then place in containers overnight in the fridge and the next day put them in a crockpot to reheat. You can eat them when the come out of the oven, but I think the sauce is thicker the next day.
