I have no idea why these are called Swedish rolls, as there doesn't seem to be anything Swedish about them. But they are delicious!!

prep time 2 Hr 10 Min
cook time 15 Min
method ---
yield 4 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 package kings hawaiian butter rolls
  • 1 pound deli ham
  • 1/2 pound swiss cheese, sliced

How To Make swedish rolls

  • Step 1
Mix mustard and worcestershire sauce into melted butter. Cut rolls in half -- put bottom halves in 9 x 13" pan, then layer with ham and swiss cheese. Replace top halves of rolls. Pour butter mixture over the top. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least for a couple of hours). Uncover and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Options: mix minced dried onion in with butter mixture. And/or sprinkle top of rolls with poppy seeds when they come out of the oven.
