stuffed porksausage & smokey bacon wraps ..
These are a delicious little number , I would always make for party's or for a starter . There easy to make and they make most mouths water . Once they reach the table they disappear ,so from my table to yours hope you like and enjoy....:)

Ingredients
- 8 - thick pork sausages.
- 8 slices smokey steaky bacon
- FOR THE STUFFING =
- 4 slices stale white bread (crust on)
- 2 cloves garlic(crushed)
- 1/2 small white onion chopped finely
- 3 tablespoons heap of butter
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 /2 teaspoon cracked black pepper.

Step 1Turn on your deep fat fryer to 190 degree . Pre-cook the sausages for only 2-3 minutes ,only want to give them a slight colouring . Then remove from fryer and set aside to cool slightly so you will be able to work with them . NOW TURN OFF THE DEEP FAT FRYER.. Pre-heat the over to 180c/375f...

Step 2To make the bread crumbs ,just tear up the slices of bread and put them into your food processer . Whiz until the bread becoming fine bread crumbs.

Step 3into a medium bowl place the butter, crushed garlic ,onion, dried parsley, cracked black pepper and place into the microwave for 60 seconds .

Step 4Add to the butter mixture all the bread crumbs, make sure to mix thoroughly , the stuffing should be nice a moist ..

Step 5The pre-cooked pork sausages should be cooled a bit so you can handle them ,with a sharp knife cut a line down the centre of sausage but don't cut right through the sausage . open slightly and fill the sausage with the garlic stuffing ,then wrap up the sausage with a slice of smokey bacon continue until you have all the sausages done . place the sausages into a oven dish and cook in the oven @ 180c/375f for 30 minutes keep an eye on them ,you don't want the bacon to burn.

Step 6NOTE = these sausage and bacon wraps are delicious for party's , or as a starter with a little salad on the side . Or do what my husband does if on a rare occasion there any left slice them down and make a sandwich..... enjoy...:)
