Stuffed Porksausage & smokey bacon wraps ..
8thick pork sausages.
8 slicesmokey steaky bacon
FOR THE STUFFING =
4 slicestale white bread (crust on)
1/2 smallwhite onion chopped finely
3 Tbspheap of butter
1 Tbspdried parsley
1 /2 tspcracked black pepper.
How to Make Stuffed Porksausage & smokey bacon wraps ..
- The pre-cooked pork sausages should be cooled a bit so you can handle them ,with a sharp knife cut a line down the centre of sausage but don't cut right through the sausage . open slightly and fill the sausage with the garlic stuffing ,then wrap up the sausage with a slice of smokey bacon continue until you have all the sausages done .
place the sausages into a oven dish and cook in the oven @ 180c/375f for 30 minutes keep an eye on them ,you don't want the bacon to burn.
- NOTE = these sausage and bacon wraps are delicious for party's , or as a starter with a little salad on the side . Or do what my husband does if on a rare occasion there any left slice them down and make a sandwich..... enjoy...:)
