How to Make Stuffed Bread Appetizers
- In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Set aside.
- Hollow out top and bottom slices of bread, leaving 1/2 inch shell and discard or save for another use. Spread a layer of mayonnaise over each slice of bread. Sprinkle mayonnaise with parsley flakes.
- Fill each bread half with cheese mixture. Wrap pickle pieces with a slices of ham and place on bottom 1/2 of loaf. Replace top, press together to seal, wrap in foil and chill overnight. Just before serving, cut into 1 inch slices.
- Cooks note: I usually double this recipe. I will make 2 inch slices depending on the crowd.
