I made these for my husbands Christmas office party. They were a big hit and everyone insisted I make them every year!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons ice water
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
  • FILLING:
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups tortilla chips, crushed
  • 5 tablespoons taco sauce
  • 4 ounces can ripe olives, chopped
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, grated

How To Make sombreros

  • Step 1
    Combine beef, water and taco seasoning mix. Press meat mixture on bottom and sides of mini muffin tins. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Combine sour cream, chips, taco sauce and olives. Spoon mixture into unbaked meat shells.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Step 4
    Bake 8-10 minutes in preheated 425 degree oven. Serve hot.
