I found this recipe in a book or a magazine several years ago. Unfortunately I can not remember the where.

My family loves these. I make them as a snack for football games on Sundays.

1 lb
sausage (jimmy dean) cooked and crumbled
1 1/2 c
grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c
grated monteray jack cheese
1 c
prepared hidden valley ranch dressing
1/2 c
chopped red pepper
1 pkg
wonton wrappers
vegetable oil


1Preheat oven to 350 degrees, Blot cooled sausage dry with a paper towel and combine with the cheeses, dressing and red peppers.
2Lightly grease a mini muffin tin and press 1 wrapper into each cup. Brush lightly with oil. (I sometimes spray them with Pam instead) Bake 5 minutes until just turning golden.
3Remove from pan and place on cookie sheet. Fill each with sausage mixture. *I actually leave mine in and complete the next step since I have 2 pans that hold 24 each.
4Bake in the oven 5 minutes until bubbly. Serve immediately.
