Sausage Rye Appetizers
You can make ahead & freeze. Place them on a cookie sheet after assembling and freeze. When frozen put in freezer bag.
If someone stops by,you can pop them in the oven or have a few for lunch.
HEATING INSTRUCTIONS FROM FREEZER:
Place under broiler for about 5 minutes not longer than 10 minutes... OR put them in a preheated 375* oven for about 10 min.
1 lbbob evans hot sausage (you can use reg or mild also)
1 lbground chuck
DRAIN MEATS WELL PUT BACK IN PAN & COOK TILL CHEESE IS MELTED:
1 lbvelvetta cheese
1/2 tspgarlic salt
1 Tbspworchestershire sauce
1-8 oz can(s)mushrooms,drained & finely chopped
SPREAD MEAT MIXTURE ON 1 LOAF PARTY RYE BREAD. PLACEIN A SINGLE LAYER ON A COOKIE SHEET.
NOW IS THE TIME TO FREEZE IF FREEZING. OR
BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN (375*) FOR ABOUT 5 MIN. OR UNTIL HOT.
