sausage mushrooms
(1 RATING)
This is so easy for a appetizer! I like to use the Hot sausage for an extra kick, but you can be very flexible with it. Enjoy!

How To Make sausage mushrooms
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Remove the stem from each mushroom, and wash them gently with cool water. Let drain on paper towels.
-
Step 2Place raw sausage in a medium size bowl and mix shredded cheese in a little at a time. You can also add any spices you may want at this time as well.
-
Step 3Roll sausage/cheese mixture into small balls and place one ball into the hollow cap of each mushroom. I like to make sure the sausage is in there good, so you might want to press firmly.
-
Step 4Line a cookie sheet with foil, and place each mushroom side-by-side (so they don't roll). There will be alot of grease when these are done, but they are oh so good!!! Just keep an eye on them, you want them out when the sausage is done. Usually about 35-40 minutes.
