Makes 1 loaf
Ingredients
- 1 pound italian pork sausage
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces shredded, mozerella
- 2 - egg whites, beaten
- 1 - egg yolk, beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- - salt and pepper
How To Make sausage bread

Step 1Oven at 350.

Step 2Cook sausage and garlic.

Step 3Drain off fat.

Step 4Combine sausage/garlic, cheese and egg whites, egg yolk and seasonings.

Step 5On greased sheet, roll dough into largest rectangle you can.

Step 6Spread meat mixture on dough leaving 1 inch border.

Step 7Roll dough-jelly roll fashion and pinch edges shut.

Step 8Place seam side down on baking sheet.

Step 9Brush top with beaten egg yolk and 1 tablespoon water mixture.

Step 10Bake 45 minutes until golden brown.

Step 11Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
