Ingredients

  • 2 can(s)
    (10 count) grands jr flaky biscuits
  • 1 lb
    pork sausage, mild (i prefer tennessee pride)
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make Sausage Bites

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Mix raw sausage and cheese gently until well blended. Shape into 40 balls of equal size.
  3. Remove biscuits from cans and separate each biscuit into 2 layers, making 40 biscuit layers.
  4. Press one layer of biscuit into cup of lightly greased mini-cupcake pan. Repeat with remaining layers.
  5. Place a sausage-cheese ball in each biscuit cup. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until biscuits are browned and sausage balls are bubbly.
