sweet italian sausage
1 small
onion (chopped)
4 clove
garlic (minced)
1/2 c
chicken broth
1/2 tsp
dried oregano
1/4 tsp
dried thyme
8 oz
cream cheese (softened)
6 oz
fresh baby spinach, chopped
1 can(s)
15 oz. cannellini beans(rinsed & drained)
1 c
chopped seeded tomatoes
4 oz
shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 c
shredded parmesan cheese
assorted crackers or bread slices

How to Make Sausage & Bean Dip Recipe


  • 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large skillet cook sausage, onion and garlic over medium heat until sausage is no longer pink, breaking up sausage into crumbles; drain.
  • 2Stir in chicken broth, oregano and thyme. Bring to a boil; cook until liquid is almost evaporated.
  • 3Add cream cheese; stir until melted. Stir in spinach, beans and tomatoes; cook and stir until spinach is wilted.
  • 4Transfer to a greased 8 in square baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • 5Bake 20-25 minutes or until bubbly.
  • 6Serve with crackers or bread rounds.
