Ingredients

10 oz
cheddar cheese
3 c
biscuit mix
1
onion, finely minced
2 clove
garlic cloves, pressed
1/4 c
chicken broth
1 lb
sausage
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1/4 tsp
sage, dried
1/4 tsp
thyme, dried

How to Make Sausage Balls

Step-by-Step

  • 1In skillet over low heat, break up sausage meat and simmer with chicken broth, sage, onion, and minced garlic until sausage is done, stirring often(15-20 min.) Do not brown. Season to taste with salt, pepper, thyme, onion powder and garlic powder. Let cool 10 minutes.
  • 2Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased, foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 12 minutes or until golden or cooked through.
