Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 pound hot sausage
- 1 pound regular sausage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 2-3 cans diced tomatoes with green chilis
- 8 cans small pillsbury buttermilk biscuits
- 1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 pound shredded colby/jack cheese
How To Make big score sausage balls
-
Step 1Brown the ground beef and sausages along with the onion and green pepper in large pan.
-
Step 2Add the tomatoes and simmer for 30 minutes and then drain all the juices from the pan.
-
Step 3Roll out the biscuits one can at a time into 4-5 inch circles and place some of the cheese in the middle and top with a heaping tablespoon of the meat mixture and then roll it into a ball, making sure to seal it up.
-
Step 4Place the rolls on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray and bake the rolls for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown at 350 degrees. Enjoy! These are good right out of the oven or can be frozen for after school snacks. Just pop them in the microwave for a minute.
