This is the traditional sausage balls that you have at parties...since I didn't see it posted, I thought that I would.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork sausage, bulk
  • 1 pound cheddar cheese, grated
  • 8 ounces margarine, softened
  • 12 ounces flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons paprika

How To Make sausage balls

  • Step 1
    Form sausage into i inch balls, using a NO. 70 dipper.
  • Step 2
    Place on baking sheet.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350F for 15 minutes or until internal temperature 165.
  • Step 4
    Drain on paper towels.
  • Step 5
    Combine cheese, margarine, flour and seasonings in mixer bowl, using flat beater.
  • Step 6
    Wrap 2 Tbs. (No. 70 dipper) of dough around each sausage ball.
  • Step 7
    Place on an non-greased baking sheet.
  • Step 8
    Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes.
  • Step 9
    Serve hot.
