Ingredients

1 csauerkraut, drained and cut up

1 csliced corned beef, cut up

1 cdry bread crumbs

1egg, slightly beaten

1 smallonion, finely chopped

1/4 cwater

2 Tbspsnipped parsley

1 tspprepared horseradish

1 clovegarlic, crushed

1/2 tspsalt

2eggs, beaten

1/2 cdry bread crumbs

How to Make SAUERKRAUT SURPRISES
- Mix sauerkraut, corned beef, 1 cup bread crumbs, 1 egg, the onion, water, parsley, horseradish, garlic, and salt; refrigerate at least 1 hour.
- Heat oven to 400º.
- Shape sauerkraut mixture into 1-inch balls. Dip balls in 2 beaten eggs, then roll in ½ cup bread crumbs.
- Bake on ungreased baking sheet until light brown, about 20 minutes.
- Serve hot with mustard.
