salami and cream cheeses wedges

I got this recipe from a little cookbook entitled "Tested Best", which featured recipes from America's food companies test kitchens. Surprisingly good for little effort, and it can be varied to suit your taste. A great addition to an appetizer tray, or even as a late night snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 - 3 oz. package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon msg - accent (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons finely crushed corn chips (fritos)
  • 5 slices salami (approx. 4 inches in diameter)

How To Make salami and cream cheeses wedges

  • Step 1
    Blend cream cheese with milk. Add remaining ingredients except salami.
  • Step 2
    Spread cream cheese mixture on slices of salami, putting one on top of the other to form a stack, ending with salami.
  • Step 3
    Chill. When ready to serve, cut into wedges.
