Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) whole water chestnuts, drained
- soy sauce
- - sugar
- 1/2 pound bacon, cut in thirds
How To Make rumaki

Step 1Cut each water chestnut in half. Marinate in soy sauce to cover, for 45 minutes.

Step 2Drain chestnuts. Roll in sugar. Wrap a piece of bacon around the chestnut and secure with a toothpick Place on a rack on a foil-lined baking sheet.

Step 3Repeat with remaining chestnuts. Bake in a 400 F oven until the bacon is crisp. Serve with Indian chutney.
