A friend brings these for super bowl each year and they disappear so quickly!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 - 8 ounces can water chestnut
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup catsup
  • 1 tablespoon . vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

How To Make rumaki

  • Step 1
    Cut bacon in half and wrap each water chestnut; secure with a toothpick.
  • Step 2
    Place in rows on baking sheet.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Step 4
    Drain grease. Refrigerate for 3+ hours or overnight.
  • Step 5
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over bacon-wrapped water chestnuts.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 350 degrees for another 20 minutes. Serve warm.
