This is an old recipe I got from a disabled veterans cookbook that I received in the mail.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound hot sausage
  • 8 ounces package pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces can jalapenos, chopped
  • 1 - (10 count) can flaky biscuits

How To Make poppers with dip

  • Step 1
    Crumble and cook sausage thoroughly. Drain. In a large bowl combine sausage, cheese and jalapenos.
  • Step 2
    Separate biscuits into 20 pieces. Pull to make 3"x3" squares. Put sausage mixture in square and pinch together like dumplings.
  • Step 3
    Place on cookie sheet and bake according to biscuit directions.
  • Step 4
    Dip: 8 oz. tub sour cream 1 packet taco seasoning mix Mix together.
