Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb
    ground beef or ground sausage
  • 1/4
    small onion, finely diced
  • 1 can(s)
    8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 2
    containers of refrigerated crescent rolls

How to Make Pizza Bites

Step-by-Step

  1. In skillet cook beef (or sausage) with onion over medium heat; drain.
  2. Remove from heat. Add tomato sauce, cheese and oregano. Mix well.
  3. Separate crescent dough into eight rectangles, pinching seams together.
  4. Place about 3 tablespoons of meat mixture along one long side of each rectangle. Roll up, jelly-roll style, starting with long side. Cut each roll into 3 pieces. Place seam side down on lightly greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
