Ingredients
- 1 - stewing hen, cut into serving pieces
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 6 - whole allspice
- 6 - bay leaves
- - salt to taste
- - white vinegar
- - 3 oz pkg lemon jello
How To Make pickled chicken

Step 1Cover all ingredients except jello with white vinegar and boil till the meat is done.

Step 2Remove chicken to dish. Bring juice to boil and add 1/2 of a 3 oz pkg of lemon jello. Stir to dissolve and pour over the chicken.

Step 3Press down with a plate and when liquid is solid it's ready to eat.
