These are really yummy and you may use sugar free jelly if you have diabetics to feed.

1 lb
lean ground beef
1/4 c
plain dry bread crumbs
egg, beaten
garlic cloves, minced
1 jar(s)
picante sauce (16oz)
1/3 c
grape jelly
1 Tbsp
thyme leaves (optional)

How to Make Picante Glazed Meatballs


  • 1Heat oven to 375*
  • 2Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil
  • 3Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, garlic and 1/4 cup picante sauce. Makes about 40 meatballs. Place on baking sheet for 15 minutes, turning half way through.
  • 4Mix remaining picante sauce and jelly in a sauce pan to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Reduce to 1 cup and add thyme-if desired.
  • 5Add meatballs to sauce, heat and serve!
