These are really yummy and you may use sugar free jelly if you have diabetics to feed.

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1/4 c
    plain dry bread crumbs
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 2
    garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 jar(s)
    picante sauce (16oz)
  • 1/3 c
    grape jelly
  • 1 Tbsp
    thyme leaves (optional)

How to Make Picante Glazed Meatballs


  1. Heat oven to 375*
  2. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil
  3. Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, garlic and 1/4 cup picante sauce. Makes about 40 meatballs. Place on baking sheet for 15 minutes, turning half way through.
  4. Mix remaining picante sauce and jelly in a sauce pan to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Reduce to 1 cup and add thyme-if desired.
  5. Add meatballs to sauce, heat and serve!
