These are really yummy and you may use sugar free jelly if you have diabetics to feed.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup plain dry bread crumbs
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 2 - garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 jar picante sauce (16oz)
  • 1/3 cup grape jelly
  • 1 tablespoon thyme leaves (optional)

How To Make picante glazed meatballs

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375*
  • Step 2
    Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil
  • Step 3
    Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, garlic and 1/4 cup picante sauce. Makes about 40 meatballs. Place on baking sheet for 15 minutes, turning half way through.
  • Step 4
    Mix remaining picante sauce and jelly in a sauce pan to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Reduce to 1 cup and add thyme-if desired.
  • Step 5
    Add meatballs to sauce, heat and serve!
