These make a great game day appetizer. Men seem to love these. I got the idea from my son-in-law.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons canola oil
3 - onions, sliced very thin
1/8 teaspoon both salt & pepper
2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
1 - 1 lb pkg bratwurst sausages
1/2 cup favorite beer

How To Make ocktoberfest beer flavored sausages

Step 1

In lg skillet, over med-high heat, add oil. Add onions and saute 10-15 mins, or until golden and tender.

Step 2

Season onions w/ salt & pepper. Stir in mustard. Add sausages. Cook until sausages are plump, about 7 mins. Stir in beer. Simmer 2-3 mins. Serve bratwurst topped w/ onions.
