Ingredients
- - fish of your choice
- 2 cups vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3-4 - bay leaves
- - salt
- - few whole allspice
- 1 - medium onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or gelatin
How To Make mother rowell's pickled fish

Step 1Boil together all ingredients, except fish until onion is tender.

Step 2Add cut up fish and boil gently watching carefully to not overcook the fish.

Step 3When done lift out fish and add lemon jello or gelatin to juice and pour over fish
