This is a great appetizer that is good during football games or just as a snack for after school.

Serves 20-24
Stove Top


  • 2 pkg
    miniature cocktail rye bread
  • 2 lb
    hamburger meat, cooked and drained
  • 2 lb
    ground sausage, hot or mild
  • 2 lb
    velveeta cheese
  • 2 can(s)
    chopped green chilies
  • 1 small
    onion, diced (optional)

How to Make Miniature Pizzas


  1. Brown meats and drain.
  2. Add cheese and stir in green chilies. On low heat, stir until cheese is melted and blended.
  3. Put on cocktail rye bread.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees fro 12-15 minutes or until toasted.
  5. Note: can be layered in covered dish between wax paper and frozen. Take out as needed.
    Also, this recipe can be halved.easily.
