These delicious little guys are great to serve when hosting a dinner party or soirée. These are a must for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound mild Italian sausages, casings removed
  • 1/2 cup white onions, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup roasted red peppers, well-drained and finely diced
  • 1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • 1 package cream cheese, room temperature (8 oz)
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour

How To Make mini cheesy sausage balls

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients, mixing them by hand.
  • Step 2
    Place a plastic wrap on top, making sure it touches the surface, and transfer to the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  • Step 3
    Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and line a baking sheet with a lightly greased foil.
  • Step 4
    When ready, wet your hands and, using a small scoop, form the mixture into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Step 5
    Transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 18 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
  • Step 6
    Turn the heat on broil and cook for 2 minutes or until nicely browned.
  • Step 7
    Remove from the heat, and place meatballs on a plate or baking sheet lined with a paper towel to remove excess fat.
  • Step 8
    Transfer them to a serving plate along with your favorite dipping sauce. Makes 40 meatballs.
