1 bag(s)tortilla chips
1/2 cshredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cshredded pepper jack cheese
1 15-ozas can(s)refried beans
1 jar(s)sliced jalapenos, drained (as many as desired)
1 lblean ground beef
1/4 cdiced onion
1 pkgtaco seasoning
1 ptsour cream
How to Make Microwave Nachos
- Prepare ground beef and taco seasoning according to package directions. Be sure to drain off as much grease as possible when browning the meat.
- Meanwhile, put tortilla chips on a large microwave-safe platter. Sprinkle with meat mixture. Dab on refried beans. Sprinkle on cheeses, onion, and jalapeños.
- Microwave at medium (50% power) about 2 minutes. Watch carefully. Microwave just until the cheeses loose shape and start to run together and nachos are steaming.
- Carefully remove from microwave. Let stand one minute and serve with sour cream or salsa on the side. Plate will be HOT!
