meatballs with tangy bbq sauce

Whenever I go to family or friends for a visit and they are just serving finger food I will make these meatballs.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 pound lean ground pork
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/3 cup dried bread crumbs
  • 1/2 - parmigiano-reggiano, grated
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped stuffed green olives
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • - bar bbq sauce
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard or dijohn mustard
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 cup strong coffee
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make meatballs with tangy bbq sauce

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients into bowl, mix until well combined make into 30 small meatballs, fry in 2 tablespoons oil or place on cookie sheet and bake them in 350F oven for 20 minutes or no longer pink.. serve warm with BBQ sauce.
  • Step 2
    BBQ SAUCE...make a cup of strong coffee and put all ingredients in a sauce pan and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes stirring occasionally, lower heat and cook for another 30 minutes stir to prevent burning cool sauce and store in refrigerator until ready to serve..warm sauce when resdy to serve.......
