Growing up, this was my son's favorite appetizer. These meatballs are easy to put together and have just the right amount of kick to them. Enjoy!

Ingredients For meatballs with a kick

1 lbground beef

1egg
-
3 Tbspdry bread crumbs

1/2 tspgarlic salt

1/2 tsplouisiana hot sauce

1 Tbspbutter
-
1 Tbspcornstarch
-
1/2 cwater
-
2 Tbsplouisiana hot sauce
How To Make meatballs with a kick

1Combine ground beef, egg, dry bread crumbs, garlic salt and 1/2 tsp. hot sauce. Mix thoroughly and shape into 3/4 inch balls. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.

2In a saucepan melt butter and then add cornstarch. Stir to blend. Add the water, ketchup,and remaining 2 tablespoons of hot sauce. Simmer until thickened. Add meatballs and heat through
