Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound mild pork sausage (or use all beef)
  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs (or 1 1/2 cups oatmeal)
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • SAUCE:
  • 1 12-oz jars apricot preserves
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

How To Make manhattan appetizer meatballs

  • Step 1
    Mix first 8 ingredients together and form meatballs.
  • Step 2
    Brown in skillet, or in oven at 450 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Heat sauce, pour over meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or cook in Crock Pot.
  • Step 4
    Can be served over rice or as an appetizer with toothpicks.
  • Step 5
    Makes 4 or 5 dozen.
